Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Body Editor team ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Body Editor iOS app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Your photos stay on your device
All photo editing (face, body, skin, makeup, hair, retouch, adjust and filters) is performed entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, view or share your photos or the face/body landmarks detected in them. Edit projects are saved locally on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the App.
2. Permissions we request
- Photo Library (read) – to let you pick photos to edit. Only the photos you select are accessed.
- Photo Library (add) – to save your edited photos when you choose to export.
- App Tracking Transparency – to ask whether we may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can decline, and change this later in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
The App does not use the camera.
3. Information collected automatically
To keep the App free, stable and improving, we use the third-party services below. They may collect device and usage information such as device model, OS version, language, app version, approximate location derived from IP address, advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), ad interactions, crash logs and in-app events.
- Google AdMob and mediation partners AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Pangle and Unity Ads – to show ads.
- Google User Messaging Platform – to request consent for personalised ads where required (e.g. EEA, UK).
- Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config (Google) – usage analytics, crash reporting and remote configuration.
- Adjust – install attribution and ad revenue measurement.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies: Google, AppLovin, Meta, Pangle, Unity, Adjust.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Purchases
Body Editor Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment card details. We only receive confirmation from Apple of whether your subscription is active, in order to unlock Pro features and remove ads.
5. How we use information
- Provide, maintain and fix the App;
- Show ads and measure their performance (ads are removed for Pro subscribers);
- Understand how features are used so we can improve them;
- Comply with legal obligations.
6. Your choices and rights
- Decline or revoke tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings.
- Review or change ad consent where the consent form is shown (EEA/UK).
- Delete your local projects inside the App, or uninstall the App to remove all local data.

7. Data retention and security
Photos and projects remain only on your device. Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their policies. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
